Our datacenter is equipped with the latest security, power, and network equipment to ensure the success of every customer. iMPACTs technicians handle the network operations so you can manage your business.

Security:

Our first and most concern, Physical security. Our facility hosts a number of security measures to provide a secure environment for your servers. The datacenter property is enclosed with an alarmed fence programmed to alert security officers if breached. To access the facility you need a card key or escort to enter the property. The main entrance of the datacenter is also keyed via swipe card. Access to the data rooms are granted by key card and hand palm scanners for two factor authentication. Last each data cabinet has a combination lock to access the servers. The entire facility is also protected via monitored alarm, 24/7 IP DVR, and fire suppression agents.

Power:

Power is the life to a datacenter. Datacenters must condition outside power along with creating and storing power in a situation the power grid cannot deliver adequate power. Our datacenter has a 2 hour life battery system along with a diesel generator with enough fuel for 7 days of runtime along with a fuel delivery contract. The backup power system is tested several times per week several hours each test time.

The Network:

Our Layer 3 network backbone is connected to 3 tier one provider: Level 3, XO Communications and Cogent Communications. Layer 2 network connectivity is comprised of Cisco switches and routers connected in standard Switch Block fashion. Last, our physical layer 1 design is comprised of multi Gigabit connections to each data rack . The network design provides full redundancy to our core peer routers. We offer 99.999% guaranteed uptime.

Monitoring:

Our monitoring system is antonymous and not located inside our datacenter. This allows the monitoring to traverse the same path as our customers. Monitoring will alert us to the following conditions.

• Node hard down (not responding)
• Latency to devices greater than 50 ms. (average ping time to major search engines are 5 ms.)
• Device Load.
• Network Load

Terms:

Our Terms start from month to month up to 60 month term. We offer discounts on longer terms.

Access:

Customers have 24/7 access to equipment by appointment. iMpact offers a colocation control panel for access to servers in emergency situations. Total Control Colocation is iMPACT Businesss product to securely access console of you server via web control panel.
